Alright folks, it's officially been 1 week since I left Ontario! Can you believe it? Daaaaaannng time flies! The searching for things has begun, we've started the hunt for a new apartment closer to everything and my job hunt has also started. I hate job hunting because it has a way of making you feel inadequate through the process but in the end you feel semi triumphant until you've realized you've settled...yet again. Oh well, got to do what I've got to do in order to be able to spend money :D I'll survive and hopefully find a good job! Everyone send good thoughts to all of my potential employers to hire me please!
Those are some pictures that I had mentioned before for your pleasure. They're of pretty sites and the border through a rain covered window. There aren't many but please enjoy them! I'm not much of a photographer since I've never really had a camera but I'm working on it, trying to take the camera with me and catching some of the memories I make as I go.
I'm working on having an interesting blog too, it's a fun thing but it's hard sometimes to write because I'm not used to it but I WILL CONQUER THIS WORLD OF BLOGGING! :D
Until next time, sleep well and only the best to you all!

Day 4 to BC
Wooooo today was great! We made it to BC and I'm not writing this for you from the comfort of my new temporary home. We will be moving in March to a different city for the next month I'll be living out of a suitcase but it will be worth it so I can start a new life in this province.
We left Missoula (in Montana), traveled through Idaho then Washington state, then took a turn north to the border, and landed here! There was a couple of hours when it looked like it would take us until midnight to get home because we hit terrible weather and the roads were scary, but thankfully it cleared up and we made it here for 7:30 pm pacific time so we are very happy! My sidekick and I have decided that tomorrow will be a sleep-in-stand-or-lay-flat-on-the-floor-all-day day, I think it's a great idea! The apartment my sidekick and his girlfriend have is a beaut! I'm sad that we won't be staying here but we would rather take a better city over this place. I took a couple of pictures today of some really nice scenery and I'll make sure to post them tomorrow, tonight I'm looking for my bed so I can sleep my stiff muscles away. It was really nice anytime the scenery changed, you would get used to and bored of one type then a new kind would surprise you. There were even areas where it was really cold with a lot of snow and ice but bodies of water were still in liquid form! My sidekick laughed at me because I yelled out "Look! That water is still water!" For those of you that still haven't caught on, water is water even when frozen so my comment was ridiculous but I didn't care because it was so strange to see and my brain didn't have time to process the proper phrase to use, so there!
Well peeps time for me to rest up so I can conquer this territory...meh the conquering can wait until Monday. Bye for now, sweet dreams to all!

Day 3 to BC
Where to start...how about with the morning? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, yay me! Well, the first hour of the day was so nasty! There was so much ice all over the road we were going about 40km/hr that whole way. After that it started to clear up and it was perfect! We did come across some patches of bad road here and there but my sidekick was a trooper and made it through, I'm so proud! :) We made it out of South Dakota, trudged our way through Wisconsin and into Montana. It is in this state that we have stopped for the night because Montana is huuuuuge! So tomorrow will be the home stretch depending on how the weather is of course because we all know it's better to be safe! Someone should tell that to the people around here...first of all the speed limit is 75mph which is equivalent to approx 120kmph (don't quote me on that please) and while we were going slower than that during the bad patches others were passing us going at least 10 over the limit....on ice! CRAZY!!!
What else was worth telling today...oh we saw some funny city/town names such as "Interior", "Big Timber", "Racetrack", and many more. There were also ones for different things such as "Dead Horse Creek Road", and the best and most random we saw was....yes that's right, Crazy Woman Creek, it's precious!
I have a couple of pictures for you that show some of the scenery we saw today, most of the way was pretty plain and not exciting but some of it was truly beautiful and I can't wait for BC to top it! ;)
Alright, enjoy them friends, I will be back tomorrow with all the fun of the day! Sweet dreams :)

Day 2 to BC
Day 2 has been loooong! We spent 13 hours on the road but we left Minnesota traveled all the way through Wisconsin and most of South Dakota! we have stopped really close to the west border of SD and will burn through it first thing in the morning. We saw so much today...so much of NOTHING! hahaha it looks like manitoba and sask around here, there was barely anything worth taking pics of but I did take some so I will share them with you! :) At the rate we're going we will be in BC on Thurs a whole day ahead of schedule!! :D
I will tell you it was great to hear a couple of different accents and then laugh because they think we sound weird.....it's hilarious since some people use words that aren't real such as "ain;t" hehehehe
Overall it's been a good day, the best part is getting to the place you aim to reach and we definitely did! 13 hours and 1300 km later and here we are, ready to SLEEP. It's insane how much sitting in a car can kill your energy level!
I hope you enjoy the pictures....as soon as we hit the border we knew it was the US of A based on a bumper sticker we saw on the road! Oh and there was a GIANT green giant hehehe, we saw signs for a corn palace, spam museum and wall drug...when we got to where wall drug is all we got was a giant dinosaur and the store was closed! laaaaaaaaaaaaaame. I was too slow to take pics of all of it so I'm sorry for it but at least you've been informed! OH! last thing....we saw a school bus towing a tow truck....:S whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Well I look forward to updating you all again tomorrow, sweet dreams and all the best, see you at the next entry ;)

Day 1 to BC
Today started my new journey with my trusted sidekick haha ok, I'm the tag along but I like my version better! We left Ontario at 7am, grabbed some coffee and hit the road running. We made great time to the border and made it into the states by 10am! It was amazing, the roads were empty and the weather was great for the drive. It's been an incredibly bittersweet day, it's so exciting to be moving to a new place and driving through many places but the further we go, the more distance there is between me and all the friends and family I love in Ontario. You have all been amazing to me over the time that I've known you and wouldn't change any of it for anything. I miss you already and want you to know I'll always be thinking of you.
Ok, that's enough for the first day, I kind of forgot to take pics all day so I'll do better tomorrow to show you some of what I'm seeing. I'm dead to the world and plan on going to sleep very soon, we are heading out first thing around 6am tomorrow which will be 7am your time. I love and miss you so much, I'm waiting for the breakdown and "my sidekick" to tell me to shut up about it haha.
I'll do my best to write more tomorrow, it's kind of hard, I'm not used to blogging but I'll get better!
